:.:When time was still Young:.:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time had begun long ago but without any of us ever present on this planet, in these lands. It was at the time when the world was still young and the gods still bickering amongst themselves. One brave goddess tender and sweet stepped forward, she had grown up with the fighting and wars among her people. It tore her apart to know they couldn't live together and be happy as they were when time was still young. She had thought for many days and nights on a way something to occupy them other than their petty squabbles. Finally after days of drawing in the stars and waters, walking amongst the tree of the gods little garden we know as Holera our planet the little ball of blue. As she stood staring her hand resting upon the bark of a giant red wood, it dawned to her. The garden they had constructed was empty! They had no flock to tend, no living thing to care for that would offer a free will to resist them if they pleased. They lacked something to love and watch over. Something more lively than a plant, yes they had their flowers and grasses, their trees and bushes, but these lacked a true will, they had nothing to love that would offer back love and praise.
She knew if they just had something that would offer them some form of excitement to watch grow! As she sat staring into the waters of a large pond, forms began to take shape. And she knew then what she must offer to the others as solution to their fighting and feuds. She must give them these creatures she had seen in her waters. The animals and strange guardians, the beautiful fish and birds. She would offer her beautiful paintings and dreams to them for their pets and flock.
After she had gathered all of her beautiful pictures and brought them to the great hall at dinner, that would be when she would offer them each a different creature, to do with as they pleased. To give them the abilities they wished and strange things they could do. Her drawing of the humans were crude at best and of the guardians they were lovely and glamorously beautiful, with their strange abilities, to shift into the forms of animals, to wield the powers of the gods themselves, and even to be given the life of a god if a god passed their life on to them. But the most wondrous things she had drawn were the ones that had no verbal words, the ones that ran on four legs swam in the waters so clear, and most extravagant of all were the ones she had given the beautiful vibrant colors.
As dinner went on and the bickering died down she moved her pictures to the front and stood up smiling. She spoke and explained how they could do these things, how this would end their wars. All they did was scoff and giggle at her. They told her she was dumb and that it would never work. They laughed her out of the dining hall.
Teary eyed but still determine the young goddess walked out of the great dining hall alone with her paintings in hand. If they would not listen to just her words she would show them. She would show them that this really could change their meaningless lives into something wonderful. That her ideas would give them a purpose other than to forever torment each other. She would show them that this would change their lives forever. As she sat in the cool dirt of the Holera garden, she began by sculpting the creatures that ran on four legs.
She gave them the most beautiful pelts of plain, and even vibrant color. She gave the creatures of the ocean the most beautiful scales and skin of the vibrant and plain colors. And so on she continued until she had created each of her creatures. Though the most beautiful of all her favorite and personal charges had been her guardians. She had made them given them the wondrous powers of her kind and those of the humans and animals. She had given them the most wonderful of gifts. These would be her charge these were hers. She had charged them with guiding and protecting the humans. Keeping them on the road to keeping a beautiful garden. These would change the world and always be loved and held in high respect with the other creatures and gods.
She quickly found out she had succeeded as more and more gods began appearing around her claiming their charges. Creating a peaceful world where all creatures now live together as one, keeping the same lives as they please, to this very day.
