Here on haven we have a way for our member to earn extra cogs aside from getting a job. If your character is a rather industrious and adventurous character, they might try their hand at the farming life! There are ranches for you to start at that will pay more than a restaurant or bar in the city. But this requires a harder worker and a much more in depth post for you to get a good days pay. Here in order to get above the normal of 80 Cogs you must have at least a 200 word post with many details. Or if you have the cash You can purchase your own home and begin working for upgrades so you can buy more seeds and livestock. The larger your land and house the more animals and edibles you may tend.
How to buy a house or land:
To buy land all you need are the required amount of Cogs and your own description for your board. All Houses and ranchs/farms can be found Here
Tending your Gardens and Animals
You must make an IC thread at your characters home(Must be the one purchased under that character) Tending the plants and animals three weeks for animals. Animals may be bred the day after they are bought from the shop. When bred you will be given either one or two babies its completely random to be fair. one to care for and grow for three weeks and one to sell directly off as an infant. This is so you can not be just breeding the same two animals and selling their off spring. When using Seed's you must tend the seeds for three weeks as well in order for them to grow fully, you will be given a random number between 1-6 of what your crop has produced for sale and a random number between 1-4 of what your crop has produced for you to keep. They can be sold Here. This is also where you apply when breeding livestock.
